Saudi jilbeb

The Saudi jilbeb is one of the best Islamic feminine outfits. Modest, sober and elegant, it's sure to dress your 'awra in the best possible way!

The Saudi jilbeb: legal attire for Muslim women!

The Saudi jilbeb is a long tunic originating, as its name suggests, in the Middle East .

It takes the form of a single piece into which a veil (khimar) is integrated.

Featuring butterfly-cut sleeves, this dress allows the wearer to move around without fear of revealing her shape.

What's more, this wide, totally opaque dress is also practical and easy to put on!

In this way, this modest dress complies with Muslim legislation. It dresses the Muslim woman in conformity, perfectly concealing her 'awra.

To best accompany the wearing of this char3i (lawful) garment, it's worth remembering that a woman's feet are part of her 'awra.

So be sure to wear shoes that cover your feet completely. This is in case your jilbab should lift unintentionally.

The Saudi jilbeb from every angle!

Black is the color par excellence of the Saudi jilbeb. Sober, discreet and elegant, this color is perfectly in line with Islamic legislation and keeps the woman out of sight.

However, there are other darker colors such as brown, gray, blue... as well as lighter shades: brown, beige, pink, etc.

You'll also find Saudi jilbabs in a range of materials, more or less warm or light.

This wide choice of colors and fabrics means there's something for every woman. And that's just as true for the different seasons of the year as it is for personal taste!

The conditions of the Islamic veil

In the approximate meaning of the verses the All-Merciful says in verse 59 of Sura Al-Ahzab:

"O Prophet! Tell your wives, your daughters, and the women of the believers, to bring back their large veils: they will be recognized more quickly and will avoid being offended. Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. "

The veil is therefore a religious obligation. This one, however, like the Saudi jilbab model presented here, must meet certain conditions to conform to the Koran and Sunna.

Here, then, is a reminder of the conditions for lawful Muslim dress:

Firstly, the veil (the garment) must cover the entire body (except the face and hands)

Secondly, the garment must not be an adornment in itself. It must be sober, discreet and unattractive.

In addition, it must not be perfumed and must be sufficiently wide and not tight-fitting.

Finally, the outfit must not resemble that of men or non-Muslim women.
