Muadh Ibn Jabal lived during the best of all times, that of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Ambitious and eloquent, this noble companion was born in Medina, the city of the Prophet Muhammad. He discovered Islam through the teachings of Musa'ab Ibn Umayr. This sahabi was sent to Yathrib to teach the religion of Allah to the new Muslims.

He learned about Islam at a very early age. Living in Medina, home to the Prophet's mosque, he was introduced to Islam by Musa'ab Ibn Umayr long before the Messenger of Allah's hijra. The messenger of Allah sent this teacher to 72 Medinese who had pledged their allegiance to him.
The stories of the Companions are full of beneficial information for the believer, both from a spiritual and behavioral point of view. Concerning Muadh Ibn Jabal, he was one of the greatest companions who supported the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Indeed, he took advantage of his proximity to the Messenger of Allah to gather an immense amount of knowledge. As for his eloquence, it made him a great orator. The Prophet Muhammad praised the merits of Muadh Ibn Jabal. He directed companions wishing tolearn the Koran to 4 sahabas, including him. Some even go so far as to claim that he is one of the greatest scholars since the advent of Islam.
He also contributed to the noble mission of collecting the word of Allah. After the liberation of Mecca, he taught the Meccans the basics of Islam.
Yemenis visited Allah's Messenger to inform him of the conversion of many people. They also asked for an emissary to provide them with religious education. The Prophet Muhammad sent a group of companions, including Muadh Ibn Jabal.
